Northwind Public Hunting Lands Maps

Federal - State - WMA - County - MFL - FCL Lands

For some time there has been a need for detailed, color topo maps or aerial photo maps that show the location of specific lands open to the public for hunting. These lands include not only federal, state, count, and Wildlife Management Areas, but private property that is open to hunting per the terms of the property tax programs such as Managed Forest Law or Forest Crop Law

Within each county, lands that are open to the public for hunting have been overlaid onto current aerial photos or 3-D enhanced topo maps. Roads are all color coded by class and labeled. Hydrology (rivers and streams) is enhanced and labeld on each map. Sections are labeled with Township, Range, and Section numbers for easy reference to the listing of property owners included with each book of maps.

An easy to use page reference guide is found on each map page. Map scale is 2" = 1 mile. Each parcel of public land is color coded and labeled for easy identiication.

Paper maps are printed on 13"x19" sized sheets, two sided that ensures clarity and longevity. Map sets are sold coil bound with a cover and back. Map sets are also available on a CD by county in a single PDF file or multiple counties with multiple PDF files at a discount for additional counties.

MicroSD cards can also be purchased with the same information loaded onto each card for select models of newer Garmin gps handheld units that accept custom maps.
