Custom Wall Maps

First introduced last year, for 2012 we are offering a choice of sizes and levels of detail for any location/area within the US.

Our Custom Wall Maps are produced on waterproof medium that is tear resistant using archival water resistant inks that will insure that the map will last for many years. Maps can be produced with either topo, 3-D topo or aerial photo backgrounds with stand infromation overliad onto the map. The example shown below iis a 36" x 48" map which covers over 170 sq. miles at a 1:20,000 scale and an aerial photo background:

Custom Wall Maps are available with a regular top, 3-D topo, or airial photo background as follows:

Level #1 (included with every map) You can shoose to have some of these options or all of these options included in your map order -

• Plain..no overlay

• Roads...color coded and labeled according to use

• Elevation...contour lines are color coded

• Lakes, streams, and rivers overlaid and labled (hydrology)

• Public Lands - Federal - State - County

• State and County boundaries and Indian Reservations

• Section overlay with township, range, and section #

Level #2 (all of the above from Level #1) with detailed habitat forestry timber type

• Foresty stand information labeled with legend where available

• Current year private property open to public hunting (known as MFL & FC in WI) overlayed onto the map. In most states data does not become available until late spring so map order will not be avialable until June

• Please note: If the WI property you want mapped is in either FML or FCL send us a copy of the DNR's most current Forest Management Plan you were provided as part of the tax beneift program and we will overlay the stand information from their plan onto your Custom Wall Map.

Level #3 all of the above plus we will add your gps waypoints onto your own map

Please note: The more you put on a map rhe smaller the scale and the more cluttered the map will become

Available map sizes are 13" x 19", 24" x 24", 36" x 36", and 36"x 48"

 

In addition to your "paper" map we can also provide you a microSD card with the same information that you can enable as a custom map of select models of Garmin Handheld gps units.
